The Orvis Helios 3 Fly Rod is available in a 3D or 3F version for you to choose from. The reel seat is a type III anodised aluminium Midnight black with a Matte Storm carbon insert. Throughout, the Helios 3 rods are built with premium quality components, including REC recoil snake guides and Sic/titanium stripping guides. Great choice for using big streamer flies with sinking lines. This rod works well in high winds, higher line speeds and with big flies. The 3D provides exceptional accuracy but with enhanced power, giving you the ability to place a fly where you want it at distance. This rod is designed to let you feel every subtle change throughout the cast. The 3F is the perfect rod for short to medium distances, out to about 60 feet.
